Spectronika sealed off Copper Halide lasers
are suitable for any application where a compact, rugged, low maintenance,
high power, simple to operate, air-cooled laser with low utilities requirements is desirable.
INDUSTRY
Spectronika CV
lasers are suitable for industrial applications such as small
scale engraving systems, circuit board drilling and scribing,
micro soldering surface treatment or other process where
non-contact drilling, surface marking or ablation is
desired from a compact, air-cooled laser. The CV laser gives
significant advantages in a number of areas, including very
high-precision machining of metals such as copper and aluminum,
which are traditionally very difficult materials to process. CV
lasers can also be used to manufacture high quality thin films of
material produced by photoablation.

MEDICINE
Spectronika can
supply CV lasers which are suitable for use in medical systems. They
can provide a biostimulation method in the therapy of
chronic or severe skin diseases (acne, allergodermatoses, leg
ulcers, psoriases). The CV laser enables one to remove various
skin defects in cosmetic surgery applications (telangiectatic
lesions, eczema, tattoos). No side-effects of the laser treatment
have been documented in the medical literature. It is tolerated
well by patients and does not have interaction with medicines.

SCIENCE
Spectronika CV
lasers are in use in scientific research facilities in the Balkans
and Russia, as well as the anti-matter research project at York
University, Harvard University and CERN. They have been chosen due
to their high output power in a convenient and lightweight package
allowing intra-facility portability.
The high speed pulsed nature of the CV laser (10-19 KHz) makes it an ideal source for high brightness, low-cost, 'strobe'
illumination in high speed photography applications. Spectronika
makes a special model with variable pulse sped and synchronization
output for these applications.

ENTERTAINMENT
Spectronika CV
lasers have a high brightness factor making them appear twice as
bright to the eye as an argon laser of the same power. They can be
seen in nightclubs and discos across Europe and in Mexico, Canada
and the USA. They produce unique emerald green and gold beam
effects. The compact size, air-cooling and low utilities
consumption make them ideal for operation in harsh environments
with minimal electrical power is available. They have
performed flawlessly in conditions form the top of a ski hill with a
portable generator in -12C temperatures to the deserts of Morocco
with daytime temperatures of +40C and nighttime temperatures of
-8C.
