Spectronika is pleased to offer a range of low-cost, high quality, coated optical components and mounts for use in laser projection systems and other applications.
These precision kinematic mounts allow for X and Y adjustment of approximately +/- 2.5 degrees (5 degrees total) around the central position. Adjustment is accomplished by knurled, precision fine-thread adjustment screws.
The OM mounts come with an integrated right angle base. The mounting hole in the base is positioned such that when mounted on the post or a bracket, the mount rotates about the centre of an attached 1 mm thick optic. They are ideal for mounting mirrors, beamsplitters and dicros on beam tables and in other applications where precision steering is required. There are two sizes available:
The OM series of precision optical mounts are complemented with a post and post-holder mounting system that allows them to be securely mounted to optics tables or laser projectors with full vertical and horizontal rotational adjustment.
As shown in the photo, the post is 25 mm (1 Inch) long and attaches to the right angle base of the OM mount with the supplied grub screw. The post slides into the post holder and can be adjusted for height and rotation then fixed in place with the thumbscrew. The base has a 25 mm (1 inch) long slot to pass a 1/4-20 or similar M-type screw for secure attachment to your optics plate/table. The post holders are available in two heights:
Bounce mirrors are used as retroflectors, usually at the back of the venue, to defect beams and create the appearance that there are more beams in the venue, or to create beam arrays by bouncing the laser beam between a number of mirrors.
Bounce mirrors have a spring loaded front plate for mounting a mirror or diffraction grating. The plate is X-Y adjustable with the thumbscrews on the back. The mount is supplied with a yoke that is adjustable with thumbscrews (mirror shown in photo is not supplied with the mount but is available at extra cost) - the yoke is drilled to attach to a clamp. Typically the reflected beam is moved close to the desired position or target with the adjustments on the clamp and yoke, then the beam is fine adjusted onto the target using the screws on the back of the bounce mirror mount. The bounce mirrors are made of aluminum to cut weight [and shipping costs] and have a rugged powder coat for durability. There are three sizes available:
Spectronika is pleased
to offer a range of coated optical components for use in laser
projection systems. These use high quality 1.5 mm or 3 mm thick
optical glass substrates and
are coated in our facilities in the building for the highest
possible quality.
Laser Beam Collimator for large diameter lasers - Compresses beam 2.3 times to allow use with higher speed, large aperture scanners
Example: After collimating of our CVL standard 14-15 mm output beam we have beam parameters as follows:
