At Spectronika, we take laser safety seriously! We only have one pair of eyes and those of us who work with lasers need to protect them -- especially during the set-up and alignment of the systems and before they are ready for safe operation.

We believe that laser safety goggles should be reasonably priced so as to be available and affordable to all.

Spectronika offers safety glasses specifically optimised for use with Copper Vapour lasers as well as other models for use with a wide variety of laser types. We have created ruged and durable 'welding goggle' style safety goggles designed to attenuate the laser beam, but still allow some beam visibility to make system alignment simpler and safer.  The attenuation filers flip up and out of the way to permit unattenuated vision when needed.

The Photo on the left shows the beam coming out of a CV laser into a power meter as viewed with the safety filters flipped up; the unretouched photo on the right shows the same view with the safety filters flipped down - note that the CV beam is still slightly visible and is comfortable to look at.

Through our custom coating facility, Spectronika is able to manufacture laser safety goggles to meet your exact needs and specifications.  We can apply multiple coatings to block more then one wavelength and can adjust the optical density of the coatings to match the attenuation required.
A minimum quantity of 10 pairs of goggles is required for custom coated goggles and a spectrum and optical density chart can be provided with the order - please inquire for details.
