section of the Backstage area provides information on publications that may
be of interest to laserists. There are a few relevant publications to
light shows as most provide information on lasers but usually from the
industrial and scientific users perspective. Here is an alphabetical

A magazine consisting mostly of 'infomercial' type articles
covering laser, optical components, fiber optics, electronics for
photonics and optics. Useful for keeping up with new product
announcements.

Monthly magazine covering lasers, fiber optics, solid state lasers
and related accessories and equipment. Articles are written from
an industrial and scientific perspective and there is occasional

Photonics
Spectra - Laurin Publishing Co, Inc.
Provides monthly worldwide coverage of the photonics industry with
a focus on lasers, fiber optics, micromchining, solid state lasers and
related accessories and equipment. Articles are written from an
industrial and scientific perspective and there is infrequent coverage
of laser shows or laser show related issues.

Laserist - International Laser Display Association
A quarterly print magazine published by ILDA that reports on the
international laser display industry - on-line version available from
the link above. Repotting is somewhat biased as the publication
tends to focus on the activities and products of ILDA members.
