Special Reports by Laser F/X staff:

  • Laser F/X 2000: A detailed report with pictures on the Laser F/X 2000 light show conference held in May in Burlington, Ontario.

  • Laser F/X '99: A detailed report on the Laser F/X '99 conference held in May of 1999.  Includes a "Scanner Wars" page that discusses faster than 30 K scanning which was first demonstrated at Laser F/X '99.

  • Stockholm Water Festival:  A detailed report from an insiders perspective of the Urström show by Obscura Magica at the 1999 Stockholm Water Festival. This show used two high power full colour laser graphics systems with stereoscopic 3D laser images, two high power laser beam effects systems, fire effects, smoke effects, Pani projections and a specially composed musical score for it's 10 day run seen by an estimated 300,000 spectators.

  • ILDA '98:  The focus of the laser display industry shifted November 6 to the 9th, 1998 to Amsterdam in Holland (The Netherlands) for the annual PUG and International Laser Display Association (ILDA) meetings.

  • Laser F/X '98:  A brief reports and photos from the only laser conference held in North America in 1998

  • SIB 2000 - Every two years, the "SIB" international trade show is held in Rimini, Italy, for the lighting, sound and laser industries. SIB is heavily attended by flamboyant Italian disco owners and workers.
